Will this 3.9s SUV be your dish?

At the end of last year, we all got the aion LX long endurance Version (AION LX 80) and carried out a detailed listing test. Considering several dimensions such as endurance performance, vehicle space and driving quality, aion LX can be said to be a car with outstanding cost performance. Therefore, the final listing result is only 2 points behind Tesla. But we all know that aion LX has a dual motor four-wheel drive version, so we all say that we can't enjoy the 7.86s "just" long endurance version. So we got the sub top model of aion LX - 80D these two days. (* the test vehicle is for trial loading, slightly different from the officially delivered version.) Quick understanding of aion LX 80d1, four-wheel drive are divided into 299600 and 349600 versions, which are only different in active / passive safety configuration (driving aid function), comfort configuration and lighting. 2. Aion LX 80D is based on GEP 2.0 pure electric platform, positioning medium-sized SUV and wheel base of 2920mm. 3. Aion LX CAR series provides three kinds of power, among which the top and sub top four-wheel models (80D, 80D max) are equipped with front and rear motors. The system has a comprehensive maximum power of 300kW (408ps), a maximum torque of 700n ยท m, and a 100km acceleration of 3.9s. 4. Optional equipped with L3 function components, it can realize driverless parking and high-speed full-automatic driving. How strong is the four-wheel drive + ultimate acceleration pack? First, a brief comparison of all versions of aion LX in terms of power configuration. Aion LX 60: 135kW / 350nm (front drive), aion LX 70: 135kW / 350nm (front drive), aion LX 80: 150KW / 350nm (front drive), aion LX 80D: 300kW / 700nm (four-wheel drive), aion LX 80D Max: 300kW / 700nm (four-wheel drive), it is worth noting that even the most powerful 80D and 80D The max model also needs an optional "extreme acceleration pack" worth 156 yuan to achieve a score of 3.9s (4.8s of the original factory). Of course, this option pack is not to replace body parts, but to exploit the potential of the motor through software. Don't say much. Set up the equipment, switch to sport mode, turn off ESP, step on the accelerator, and press the brake before the dizziness caused by rapid acceleration has completely subsided. To be honest, the body posture of aion LX's rapid acceleration is not very good-looking. The front suspension barrel core can't hold the body, resulting in obvious head up. In addition, the steering wheel with the same feel as that of the game console is really insufficient for people's confidence. The measured power of breaking 100 in 5.14 seconds is not as fast as that in the publicity, but considering that this is a trial loading, the wear, power, adjustment and other aspects are different from the official delivery version / new car, so we don't have to worry about the data. But here I would like to say that the aion LX with the "extreme acceleration pack" is basically the same as the ordinary four-wheel drive model because there is no change in the hardware. I still think that GAC should replace the car owner with a tire with a stronger performance. After all, "braking" is more important than "running fast". (* this test vehicle is equipped with Mipang PS4 tire) Summary: aion LX 80D + "extreme acceleration package" (* trial loading) measured acceleration performance of 100km: 5.14s; braking performance of 100km: 39.55m. Small performance comparison: 1. X PHEV measured 100km acceleration performance: 4.92s; 100km braking performance: 37.22m. 2. The acceleration performance of 100 km measured by e-tron is 5.36s; the braking performance of 100 km is 37.03m. 3. The measured acceleration performance of the leading edge EV is 10.00s, and the braking performance is 40.93m. The endurance test of the four-wheel drive version under the comprehensive working condition. Previously, we all tested the aion LX 80 with the electric power consumption of 17.8kwh/100km under the comprehensive road condition. The converted endurance distance is 522km. To be honest, compared with the nominal endurance of 650km, there is a small gap in mind. Will the gap be larger after adding the rear axle motor? Before the test, simply talk about the hardware specifications. Both 80D and 80 (the long-range front drive) are equipped with ncm811, with a capacity of 93kwh. Only after 80D is equipped with a motor, NEDC's endurance changes from 650km to 600km. In addition, in order to reduce energy consumption, aion LX is equipped with the fourth generation intelligent temperature control system and BMS of GAC. The "three in one" electric drive system (integrated motor, inverter and reducer) reduces the use of connecting cables, thus reducing weight and energy consumption. Of course, that's just advertising. Whether it's good or not depends on the "curative effect". If you don't say much, test it immediately. *Driving mode normal, dual zone air conditioning 22 degrees Celsius (outdoor 26 degrees Celsius), two passengers. After 2 hours and 40 minutes of comprehensive road condition test, 102km was run, with an average speed of 38.3km/h. The apparent endurance dropped from 597km (100%) to 471km (79%), which was converted back to 485.7km in comprehensive condition. Based on the data analysis of the long endurance version of the precursor tested before: aion LX 80: NEDC 650km, measured 522km, with a gap of 19.7%. Aion LX 80D (this test model): NEDC 600km, 485.7km measured, 19% difference. On the whole, there is a big gap between the measured endurance and the NEDC nominal endurance, which is the place where aion LX is worth improving. Ride quality: I'm surprised to tell you the truth, the endurance performance of aion LX 80D can't satisfy me, but in the driving experience, the whole chassis adjustment of LX and the matching of accelerator and brake can add a lot of points to the car. Take the driving mode as an example. Aion LX supports five driving modes, including sport, normal, eco, eco + and i-pedal. The energy recovery amplitude and motor response speed will vary in different modes. If you can feel the difference as long as you understand English, I will not repeat it. But here are a few things I would like to share: 1. Aion LX does not support manual setting of energy recovery level. It relies on Bosch ibooster linear braking system and esphev system to realize automatic energy recovery. Of course, in actual driving, the "drag feeling" brought by this system is quite weak (the maximum deceleration is 0.3g), and even when you loosen the throttle to slide down the approach bridge (the ramp is not big), the speed will slowly increase. 2. In sport mode, all the power of dual motors can be burst out, but the throttle adjustment of aion LX is very linear. Even though the permanent magnet synchronous motor has the output characteristic of "stepping together with max torque", the throttle setting of aion LX is very good. If everyone has a torque of more than 600 700nm, I won't use sport mode to drive the Tang EV, because the accelerator is too fast and sensitive, driving in the city is very tiring, but it's OK to drive the aion LX. 3. The aion LX steering wheel supports comfort, standard and adjustable movement in three gears, which is quite user-friendly, but the problem is that the damping increased with the speed is not linear enough, and the overall feel will be fake. 4. Tell me how the chassis makes me feel. To be honest, I think GAC has made a lot of efforts to adjust the car. Considering aion LX's positioning of "luxury intelligent super running SUV", the whole chassis of the car has not been adjusted in the same style as other SUVs on the market, driving AION LX turns around in the car group and you will find that the chassis of this car is quite "tough". You will give you positive feedback on the subtle movements of the steering wheel and the body of the car. When driving, you don't feel that you are driving a medium-sized SUV at all (maybe it will be uncomfortable if the front and the central control are too long). Of course, this "toughness" does not sacrifice comfort. This set of suspension filters the ups and downs of the road very quickly The only drawback is that the barrel core of the shock absorber can't hold the car a bit, which is reflected in the obvious rise of the car when accelerating (the feeling inside the car is also obvious). (the aluminum alloy connecting rod significantly reduces the vehicle weight, reduces the unsprung mass, and improves the control.) of course, aion LX is one of the few medium-sized SUVs in general, which makes me irresistible to drive every day. Of course, it would be better if the steering wheel power could be more linear. 5. I'm very satisfied with aion LX driving. How about sitting up? There's nothing to say about the front passenger seat. Here I want to talk about the back row of aion LX. First, I want to talk about the advantages. There's plenty of head and leg space in the back row. The other four seats are equipped with leg brackets, which make it very comfortable to sit in the back row. (all four seats have legs) the whole platform in the back row is flat, which takes good care of the poor ghost sitting in the middle. Let's talk about the disadvantages again. First of all, the seat is too short to steal a thin cushion for the head space. In addition, the two sports seats in the front row block the vision too much. The people in the back row seem to face the two mountains directly and feel a little depressed. The other four-wheel drive version of aion LX 80D is the same as the front drive version, such as the storage space, the air outlet in the back row, etc. (rear all flat platform) (although the sports seat is good, it affects the rear passenger's vision.) after reviewing the appearance and interior decoration, I want to talk about the design of aion LX as an example. Aion LX is built based on GEP 2.0 pure electric exclusive platform of GAC, although it has a wheel base of 2920 mm, in fact, the vehicle length is only 4786 mm, and the ratio of wheel base to vehicle length reaches 0.61, so the advantage of the design of "four wheels at four corners" is that the body stability is better, of course, we can find similar proportion in some luxury brand models, such as Benz GLC, f-pace, etc. Look at the side, AION LX adopts the current popular suspension roof design, plus a "small walking back". Of course, this "small walking back" is more for the sake of the vehicle's wind resistance. After all, the negative pressure area at the rear of the vehicle will increase the pressure difference resistance when the vehicle is driving at high speed, and the streamlined walking back design is conducive to reducing the air flow separation area at the rear window position, so as to reduce the pressure difference resistance, reduce the wind resistance and improve the air flow resistance The endurance and distance data show that the aion LX wind resistance coefficient has reached 0.288cd, which is already a relatively low wind resistance coefficient in the mainstream medium-sized SUV. An almost totally closed hub cover is added outside the hub, not so much for wind resistance, but also for visual effect. We got the test car with a sports appearance set, specifically, the rear-view mirror and D-pillar were replaced with carbon decorative plates. (carbon fiber rear-view mirror shell) (carbon fiber D-pillar trim panel) more appearance pictures: (the "tear eyes" headlamp is one of the features of aion's family front face) (hidden door handle) walk into the car to look at the interior, aion LX takes a simple route as a whole, the center console uses a large area of color matching material design, and the suede used for the door panel and roof is worth praising, which feels quite warm. In addition, the up and down shift knob can be said to be very interesting, full of a sense of ceremony. The most eye-catching part of the whole interior is the double screen above the center console. This adigo ecosystem has the functions of face ID, adigo E-plan, adigo pilot augmented reality instrument, intelligent AI partner, adigo world social game, etc. The functions are very rich and the display effect is not bad, but I don't like the real experience very much. First of all, there are too many secondary and tertiary menus. Some commonly used functions (such as adjusting driving mode) are hidden deeply and are not easy to operate. Secondly, the touch screen is too difficult to use, and its sensitivity is low. It is recommended that GAC change its supplier. More interior decoration pictures: (multi material splicing design, looks very high-end) (middle console handle part) (left shortcut key, can turn on the built-in dash cam, turn off ESP, etc.) version difference, purchase suggestion aion LX includes 5 versions in total, and the later price ranges from 249600 to 349600. The front version is subdivided into 3 versions, corresponding to 503, 520 and 650km respectively, while the four-wheel version is 600km respectively. If the budget is sufficient, I suggest to buy the aion LX 80 version after the subsidy. Although it is 20000 more expensive than aion LX 70, the NEDC's endurance is increased by 130 km, and the power is stronger, and the hub is increased from 19 inches
