Electric Vehicle
DC contactors are widely used in electric vehicles. The whole vehicle can be equipped with 8-16 DC contactors, which are mainly distributed in PDU devices and air conditioning devices. PDU (power distribution unit), the high-voltage power distribution unit in the high-voltage system solution of new energy vehicles.
The main function of PDU components is to isolate the system when it stops running, and to connect the system when it is running. When the vehicle is shut down or fails, it can safely separate the energy storage system from the vehicle electrical system, and play the role of breaking the circuit. It is used as the electric control device in other auxiliary circuits.

The high-voltage components are electrically connected by bus and wire harness to provide the high-voltage system of new energy vehicles with functions such as charge and discharge control, power on control of high-voltage components, circuit overload and short-circuit protection, high-voltage sampling, low-voltage control, etc. to protect and monitor the operation of high-voltage system.
PDU can also integrate BMS main control, charging module, DC module, PTC control module and other functions. Compared with traditional PDU, PDU has more vehicle function modules, more integrated functions, more complex structure, with water-cooling or air cooling and other heat dissipation structures.
