BMW's latest generation of standardized vehicle access control ecosystem uses a security chip, which runs separately from the smartphone's operating system. Even when the phone is powered down due to low power, the key can still operate normally. In addition, BMW adopts ultra wideband technology, which enables the key to have the maximum anti stealing protection. More than a decade ago, BMW realized the benefits of ultra wideband technology and penetrated the global market. Ultra wideband technology is a new type of wireless communication technology, which is low power, high bandwidth and relatively simple. Ultra wideband technology can be regarded as the substitute of Bluetooth technology, the transmission rate of the latter is far lower than the former, and the protocol of Bluetooth technology is also more complex.
