(source: greenarcongress) according to foreign media reports, affected by the epidemic, commercial vehicles (vwcv) choose "cloud release" e-bulli. This retro concept car is based on the T1 Samba bus in 1966 and is a "zero emission" model, which is equipped with the latest electric vehicle drive system components of Volkswagen. In order to transform the traditional bulli into emission free drive, vwcv's designers formed a team with drive experts from Volkswagen Group components and ecassics, which specializes in electric vehicle modification. The team chose a T1 Samba bus produced in 1966 as the basis for the future e-bulli model, which had been running on California roads for half a century before the modification. This e-bulli uses the latest electric drive components of the Volkswagen Group. The 32 kW four cylinder plug gives way to the 61 kW motor. The maximum torque of the new motor is 212 nm. Compared with the original T1 engine in 1966 (102 nm), it can provide more than twice the power. Through the single speed gearbox to achieve power transmission, and equipped with a gear lever. Now, the transmission lever is located between the driver's seat and the front passenger's seat, and the gears (P, R, N, D, b) of the automatic transmission are set beside the transmission lever. The single speed also has a so-called "B" position, which is used to recover the braking power. The energy generated by braking can be used to charge. The maximum speed of the e-bulli is 130km / h. under the original driving system, the maximum speed of the T1 model is only 105km / h. In the 2020 e-bulli, the gearbox and motor are located at the rear of the car, jointly driving the rear axle, and the 45 kwh lithium-ion battery pack is used to power the motor. In cooperation with eclassics, the power electronic system customized for e-bulli can control the high-voltage energy flow between the motor and the battery, and in the process, convert the stored DC into AC. In addition, 12V voltage can be provided for on-board electronic equipment through DC / DC converter. All standard components of the electric drive system are manufactured by the Volkswagen Group parts company in Kassel. In addition, the lithium-ion module is designed by a component factory in Braunschweig. Eclassics transfers them to a battery system suitable for the T1 model. The high-voltage battery is uniformly placed in the center of the vehicle floor, which reduces the center of gravity of e-bulli, thus improving driving characteristics. AC or DC can be used to charge the battery through AC charger, and the charging power is 2.3 to 22 kW according to different power sources. With the CCS charging socket of e-bulli, the high-voltage battery can also be charged at the DC fast charging point, with the charging power up to 50 kW. In this case, it can charge 80% of the electricity in 40 minutes, and the range of a single charge is more than 200 kilometers. Compared with T1, the ride feel of e-bulli is totally different because of the redesigned chassis. The multi link front and rear axles with adjustable shock absorbers and coil struts, as well as the new rack and pinion steering system and four internally ventilated disc brakes, offer a new dynamic handling mode to keep the vehicle stable while driving. In addition to the new electric drive system, the interior design of e-bulli is both fashionable and avant-garde. This electric vehicle combining high-end classics and high technology is about to be launched. Vwcv's partner, eclassics, plans to offer T1 converters, including redesigned front and rear axles.
