Han Tai recently announced that the company has developed a "virtual formula design (VCD) system", which can predict the characteristics of tire formula through artificial intelligence (AI) analysis, so as to obtain the optimized combination scheme of materials. Because the technology is based on accumulated data, it does not need to obtain data through actual testing in the process of tire formula development. Generally, the development process of tire formula is quite complicated. Because the tire formula is composed of more than 15 kinds of materials, such as natural rubber, synthetic rubber and carbon black materials, it can show the characteristics of travel specificity according to different variables such as temperature, function, combination sequence, pressure, material ratio, etc. Therefore, the research and development of a new formula will take from six months to three years, while the application of artificial intelligence technology is expected to shorten the research and development cycle by 50%. Specifically, the VCD system running on the cloud platform will create a virtual simulation model of real objects, and then map the results of the model to reality, so that reality and virtual interact with each other, and repeat the process constantly. Through machine learning and self evolution, tens of thousands of data units are analyzed to find a better formula. In fact, Han Tai and the Korean Academy of science and technology signed a future technology research and development agreement at the beginning of this year, and the two sides cooperated on the VCD system project. Since then, the accuracy of data analysis will be greatly improved, and the current reliability is more than 95%. In addition, after the application of artificial intelligence technology to predict tire formula characteristics, Hantai tire also plans to expand the application scope of this technology, covering the entire tire development process from material selection, design, tire testing, manufacturing to mass production. The company plans to accelerate the introduction of innovative technologies based on accumulated data for the tire industry ecosystem, including material supply and demand, design, R & D, testing, production, distribution and customer use, without limiting specific development areas.
