Recently, Netcom news agency learned that a new patent has been released again, which mainly involves the stacking interlayer in the automobile glass structure. This patent can enhance the overall strength of the automobile glass structure, and promote the flexibility and functional design of the glass decoration. It can be said that Tesla has now added a kind of automotive glass material to its product chain. In general, the glass structure of the automobile includes: the outer layer and inner layer of the glass, as well as the stacking interlayer between the relative surfaces of the inner and outer layers of the glass. The stacking interlayer includes at least two interlayer substrates and at least one decorated interlayer substrate. Tesla provides system and technical examples of vehicle glass structures (such as windows) in this patent. Compared with traditional glass structure, Tesla's disclosed glass structure example can provide higher strength and function for automobile glass. As early as 2016, Tesla confirmed to the outside world for the first time that it has a new glass material R & D department.
