Schaeffler Group and abte line have reached an agreement on the strategic cooperation of electrification of light commercial vehicles under 3.5 tons. Abte line is a high-quality partner in light electric commercial vehicles (LCVs). Schaeffler Group will provide partner supply management experience and technical solutions for all aspects of electric drive systems including development. In the initial stage, the cooperation between the two sides will focus on project management from concept to certification, as well as system supplier management with Volkswagen and abt. After that, Schaeffler will provide cooperation with "relevant expertise in procurement, production and quality assurance".
