On December 4, Renault Alliance (hereinafter referred to as "alliance"), the world's largest automobile alliance, recently held a monthly meeting of the operation Committee of the alliance in Boulogne biengeu, Paris, France. For the consideration of all the stakeholders of the alliance, the members of the committee agreed on the plan to improve the operational efficiency of the alliance. The plan includes an action plan to maximize the synergy of the alliance to support the strategic planning and operating profit of each company. Makoto Uchida, who also officially served as Nissan's representative executive officer, President and CEO, said: "the alliance is essential for Nissan's performance recovery and sustainable growth in the future. In the past 20 years, in the context of win-win situation, the alliance and we have worked together on the basis of equality, mutual respect and close cooperation to seek mutual benefit. Nissan has made a long-term development with the help of the alliance. Based on the same principles, we will continue to work with the alliance while maintaining Nissan's independence. " As a first step in the plan, the Alliance operating committee will appoint a secretary general of the alliance within the next few days. The Secretary General will serve as a key role in coordinating and promoting a number of important projects in the alliance and is committed to improving the operational efficiency of the companies in the alliance. The Secretary General will report to the Alliance operating Committee and the CEO of each company. The alliance will release further details in the coming weeks.
