Recently, overseas media revealed that Aston Martin will abandon the AMG 4.0L twin turbo V8 in the future and switch to the V6 engine. New engines will be used in future DB11, DBX and vantage models. The company will also show off the new engine in the upcoming Valhalla super. Andy Palmer, Aston Martin's boss, revealed: "Mercedes Benz never hides where their engine technology is going, and obviously we didn't foresee that our astons would adopt a four cylinder engine. So we have to go our own way. " Palmer also said that the new V6 hybrid engine is better than the V8 engine and will have more horsepower. Aston Martin Valhalla's M01 hybrid V6 engine is reported to produce about 1000 horsepower (746 kW). However, don't expect output from vantage or DBX models to be this high. It is reported that Aston Martin Valhalla super sports car is expected to appear in 2022, when you can see the most powerful hybrid V6 engine.
