Drinking and driving can hurt people. All countries are actively cultivating the driver 's awareness of anti alcohol driving and strengthening the supervision of driving behavior. In the future, drunk driving will be stopped when the vehicle starts. According to CCTV, the European Commission recently passed a new regulation that new EU cars will be equipped with built-in alcohol tester in the future. Once the tester detects that the driver drives after drinking, the engine of the vehicle will not start. This is to effectively prevent drivers from driving after drinking. It is reported that the new regulation has been adopted by the European Commission. The new regulation requires that all EU new cars need to be equipped with alcohol tester from May 2022. EU countries attach great importance to this new regulation. In an interview with the media, Nicholas AIS, head of the road traffic policy department of the British Automobile Service Company, said that this provision means that EU member states have a basic reference for the introduction of regulations on the installation of alcohol testers for motor vehicles. Like the regulation of the domestic automobile market, many European countries have already classified drunk driving as illegal, and began to use breath test to detect whether drivers drive alcohol. In 2012, the French government announced that drivers who enter France must place alcohol testers in their cars, otherwise they will face fines. As a result, the disposable simple alcohol breath test equipment has become a must-have for many drivers. Many supermarkets in the UK can buy this kind of simple alcohol test equipment. It is understood that the UK is one of the countries with the highest punishment for drunk driving in the EU. According to British law, drivers who drive after drinking for the first time will have their license revoked for one year; in serious cases, they may have their license revoked permanently, pay the fine of not setting up online, or even go to jail. At present, the supervision of drunk driving in China is also very strict, but there is no relevant requirements for the installation of alcohol testing instruments. In the future, it is not ruled out that the domestic traffic supervision market may imitate the EU. In addition to the new regulations on vehicle borne alcohol tester, the European Union has set relevant requirements for the speed limit function, real-time monitoring of drivers' overspeed behavior, and timely reminding drivers to slow down in the speed limit section. According to the EU traffic safety committee, if the new car is equipped with relevant safety auxiliary functions, more than 30% of traffic accidents will be reduced in the next 15 years, saving 25000 lives in Europe.
