On November 27, the AI intelligent power battery factory of honeycomb energy vehicle standard level was officially put into production in Jintan, Changzhou. In October 2018, cars announced that honeycomb energy is on the road of independent development. Different from the current generally used winding power battery technology path, honeycomb energy is mainly laminated. According to reports, this type of battery can have lower internal resistance, longer cycle life, better thermal performance and higher energy density. Great Wall wey P8, R1 and other models all use battery pack from honeycomb energy. The factory officially put into operation this time is the first battery factory of beehive energy and the first intelligent manufacturing factory in the world to adopt "high-speed lamination process" on square aluminum shell electric core. By building AI with big data, the factory can achieve process engineering management and control, intelligent quality management and control, process development management and control, equipment health management and control, supply chain demand management and control, Intelligent Park logistics management and control, etc., to meet the post shipment stability of products. According to the vehicle regulation level, honeycomb energy mainly focuses on four aspects: environmental control, core safety control, process control and process equipment, which are more stringent than other enterprises in terms of standards. It is reported that the plant will be completed in three phases, covering an area of 800 mu, with an investment of more than 8 billion yuan. It is mainly responsible for the production of aluminum shell square electric core, with a total planned capacity of 18gwh. The planned capacity of the first phase of the project is 4gwh; the planned capacity of the second phase is 8gwh, which is expected to be put into operation by the end of 2020; the planned capacity of the third phase is 6gwh. At the same time, beehive energy has put forward the goal of planning a total domestic capacity of 76gwh by 2025. The total global capacity will reach 100GWh, with a total investment of 26 billion yuan for plant construction. The global distribution of honeycomb energy has already started. Its R & D centers in China, South Korea, India and other places have been put into use, while those in the United States, Japan and Wuxi are under construction. According to beehive energy, there are more than 26 domestic and foreign OEMs with purchase intention, including,,, PSA, automobile, etc. At present, although the oligarch effect of the power battery industry is obvious, and other leading enterprises have occupied more than 80% of the market share, at the same time, the market demand for high-end power battery capacity continues to expand, leaving honeycomb energy with both challenges and opportunities.
