As a car brand that has settled for nearly a hundred years, it is very worthy of affirmation in both word-of-mouth and sales worldwide, especially in the domestic market. In many models of Volkswagen in China, from the middle level to the middle level, it has been in the leading position, but there has been a gap, that is, in the field of high-end models. In order to fill the vacancy, Volkswagen later launched a new flagship model, huion. However, the domestic market has already changed dramatically. In 2015, VW debuted its new model C coupe GTE (Chinese name huidao) concept car in Shanghai, and huidao is also a "Chinese special vehicle". However, the C coupe GTE, originally planned to be launched in the next year, failed to meet consumers as planned due to multiple factors. At the beginning of the design, VW huidao will be powered by the system, matching with 4-cylinder TSI, electric motor, 8-speed automatic transmission and lithium-ion group. The concept car unveiled at that time had a combined output of 245 horsepower and 500 nm. The acceleration time of 100 km was 8.6 seconds, the fuel consumption of 100 km was only 2.3 L, and the pure electric endurance mileage was 50 km. The design of the new generation of Volkswagen CC is basically consistent with the concept car C coupe GTE that was unveiled at that time. This may also be the reason why VW C coupegte failed to go public. Huidao is based on the research and development of VW MLB platform, and the overall style is consistent with VW Huiteng. In terms of appearance, VW huidao tries its best to cater to young consumers on the premise of keeping the "high-end atmosphere", which can be seen from the design of front, rear lamp group and tail. The overall outline and lines are basically the same as those of the current Volkswagen CC, while the large-size hub, four outlet exhaust and hidden door handle are more moving and younger. The length / width / height of the fairway is 5071 / 1930 / 1445mm respectively, and the wheelbase reaches 3014mm, which ensures the high-end base of the fairway. Although VW huidao adopts the body design of sliding back type, its ingenious design has little effect on the rear seat space. In terms of interior decoration, although the general public style is still full, in order to establish a new benchmark image, some details are still very luxurious. Dual color matching can give people a very comfortable sense of stability. Although the central control area is designed very succinctly, it is not without luxury. Even in order to create a sense of technology, the mechanical watch commonly used by the public is replaced by an LED "electronic watch". The back row is bolder than the front row. First of all, the rear row is designed with two seats, and the display screen, cup holder and front armrest box with touch function are cleverly connected together, which is very beautiful; second, the touch display screen integrated with the front row seat looks very high-end. Through the appearance and interior decoration of VW huidao, it is obvious that VW focuses on young consumers this time, and the design in many aspects is very in line with the aesthetics of young consumers. Although the power and space performance are not enough, the + sliding back design is helpless. Huidao is expected to sell at a price similar to that of huiang, which will become the "key" for Volkswagen to reopen the domestic high-end automobile market.
