According to foreign media reports, Harman international, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, announced the launch of EV Plus + solution, a new audio and communication solution package designed for the fast-growing electric vehicle market segment and environmentally conscious customers. The solution overcomes the unique challenges faced by electric vehicles and provides consumers with a high level of entertainment, communication services, as well as comfort, flexibility and sustainability. With the automobile industry entering the biggest transformation period in decades, the future mobile travel technology needs to fully meet the needs of consumers, while giving priority to thoughtful innovation. One of the key drivers of change is the transition to electric power assemblies to address climate change. According to Bloomberg Nef, by 2049, more than half of global car sales are expected to come from electric vehicles, and more than a third of the fleet will be electric vehicles. Ecotect: innovative electric vehicle system design solution, using half of the components can ensure strong audio performance, and reduce weight, complexity and power consumption. Ecotect has high-efficiency speaker, patented prodigy booster amplifier and Power Manager 2.0 technology, and all these technologies are layered in a unique architecture, using innovative speaker location, sustainable materials and mature signal processing technology to provide high-quality audio and communication experience while optimizing the efficiency of electric vehicles. 2. Audio marketplace: a new cloud based ecosystem supported by Harman ignite. Audio marketplace allows users to add and update car audio, entertainment and communication functions on demand with a touch of a button. This unique, open wireless update (OTA) product can provide a new level of personalized and flexible car experience throughout the vehicle's life cycle. 3. Software enabled branded audio supported by software: the brand audio supported by software can be downloaded and activated immediately, and a new way can be provided by using the Ecotect system components. By touching a button, the basic audio in the new car can be upgraded to the high-end brand audio experience through wireless upgrade. With this unique delivery model, consumers can choose to add premium brand audio or activate it at any time when they purchase any vehicle equipped with Ecotect system. Through audio marketplace, consumers can immediately personalize their car products to meet their personal preferences, mood and lifestyle. The experiences they get include: 1. Naturescapes: in order to present the quiet and natural voice of American national parks, Harman and National Park Foundation Foundation) to bring the life of some of the most popular national parks into the car experience. Using audio recorded at real Park points of interest, naturescapes provides a fully immersive sound scene for attractions such as Yosemite Falls and mammoth domes. Electric vehicle passengers can choose the real voice, which can turn the pressure or monotonous scenery from the dense traffic into a quiet and satisfying car experience. 2. Voice sensing volume fade: in order to have a clear and seamless conversation in the car, voice sensing volume Fade function provides electric vehicle passengers with innovative technology, which can distinguish the communication and music in the vehicle. When people talk, the audio volume is turned down seamlessly, and at the end of the conversation, the music is automatically turned back to the original state. 3. EESS safe and sound: in order to improve the safety of pedestrians and increase the entertainment audio outside the vehicle, EESS safe and sound will project the electronic sound of the external speakers equipped at the front and rear of the vehicle to inform pedestrians of the speed position of the electric vehicle and other information. As an additional feature, these external speakers can be connected to the vehicle subwoofer to create an outdoor full bandwidth external sound system. 4. Halosonic road noise cancellation (RNC): halosonic RNC is part of Harman's patented and award-winning halosonic noise management solution. It uses acoustic noise cancellation technology to reduce unnecessary road noise in the car and improve the comfort in the car. The technology reduces the road noise and the dependence on heavy sound insulation materials. It can create a quieter and more comfortable ride experience for consumers. It can also let OEMs use the most fuel-efficient way and the best optimization way to improve electric vehicles to provide such experience.
