Recently, the national development and Reform Commission revised and released the Guiding Catalogue of industrial structure adjustment (2019 version). The catalogue is divided into three categories: encouragement, restriction and elimination, and shall be implemented as of January 1, 2020. Among them, item 16 of the encouraged category in the catalogue is automobile related, including encouraging the development of key auto parts, lightweight material applications, key parts of new energy vehicles, on-board charger, automobile electronic control system, as well as the research and development capacity of intelligent vehicles, new energy vehicles and key parts, and efficient internal combustion engine for vehicles.
