On December 18, the Ministry of industry and information technology announced the list of group standard application demonstration projects in 2019. In this list, there are 103 group standard application demonstration projects, including "green design product evaluation technical specification for automotive tires". The World Wide Web understands that the group standard has been implemented since August 27, 2018. This standard was jointly proposed and issued by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and China Rubber Industry Association. Drafting units include shuangqian tire, Shuangxing group, Linglong tire, Zhongce Rubber, triangle tire, Pulin Chengshan and other tire manufacturing enterprises. In addition, China Chemical Environmental Protection Association, China Rubber Industry Association, national rubber tire quality supervision and inspection center, China Quality Certification Center, and China automobile center Yancheng automobile test field are also drafting units of the standard. Zhu Hong, director of the technical and Economic Commission of the China Rubber Association, said the purpose of the standard was to promote the industrialization of green tyres in China. According to the Ministry of industry and information technology, these demonstration projects were selected to implement the requirements of the standardization law, vigorously cultivate and develop group standards, and support the promotion and application of group standards.
