Former chief designer of Rolls Royce will be chief designer of Volkswagen brand

Recently, according to foreign media reports, Jozef Kaban, former chief designer of Rolls Royce, will take the post of chief designer of automobile brand on July 1, 2020, while Klaus Bischoff, the current designer, will be responsible for the design of the whole Volkswagen Group. In October, after about six months as chief designer of Rolls Royce brand, Kaban chose to leave the British super luxury brand and group, and is now determined to join the public. Kaban graduated from the Royal College of art and joined the Volkswagen Group in 1999. He mainly designs the appearance of Bugatti velon super run. In 2003, he began to be the design director, and in 2008, he became the chief designer of Skoda, reviving the design of Skoda brand. In 2017, Kaban joined BMW as the director of BMW brand design. Klaus Bischoff began to work in the design department of Volkswagen in 1989 and took charge of the design since 2007. Recently, he has played a key role in the development of the shape of the new ID series electric vehicles and the broader transformation of the entire brand. He will be the design director of the Volkswagen Group on April 1, 2020.
