Ashutosh Tomar, technical manager of Land Rover electric research, pointed out that "the healthcare, aerospace, consumer technology and military industries are already fully enjoying the benefits of structural electronic products. Our research will introduce this technology into the interior of motor vehicles for the first time, thus leading the design direction of the automobile industry." Officials call this technological innovation the lightweight Electronics (LESA) project, which uses printable electronics already used in flexible OLED TVs. "Jaguar i-pace" Jaguar Land Rover plans to apply this display technology to electric vehicles.
