Didi tries to operate high-end car Hailing service in some areas of Tokyo

According to techweb, Didi mobility Japan will conduct trial operation of didi premium service in some areas of Tokyo on November 22. Didi premium is a high-end car Hailing service. Users can call crown, ELFA, LS and other models in didi client, covering Tokyo port area, Chiyoda District, Central District, Shinjuku district and Shibuya district. In September 2018, Didi entered the Japanese market and established a joint venture with Softbank Corporation of Japan to provide taxi Hailing services and intelligent transportation solutions. Didi began to put into trial operation in Osaka in the early stage, and then successively carried out business in Kyoto, Fukuoka, Tokyo and other major cities in Japan. Didi's business development in Japan is different from that in China. The strategy adopted is to cooperate with local taxi companies. The vehicle resources mainly come from taxi companies, while didi platform mainly provides efficient online dispatching strategy. In the domestic market, Didi launched didi special car as early as 2014, which serves high-end business travelers. In 2018, Didi special car was upgraded to Li orange special car. In order to ensure the user experience, Li orange special car set up an independent customer service hotline to provide 24-hour Chinese and English services. On the basis of the original special car service standard "Eight Golden items", it also created personalized services, such as providing more travel service equipment: disposable raincoat, air purifier, massage chair, etc. Apart from Didi, Mercedes Benz S-class is also working with Daimler to build a high-end travel platform. In October 2018, Geely and Daimler announced that they would establish a joint venture in China to provide high-end special vehicle travel services. In May 2019, Geely Technology Group under Geely Holding and Daimler mobile service company formally established a joint venture company, Weixing Technology Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 1.7 billion yuan, each holding 50% of the shares. Recently, Li Shufu, chairman of Geely Group, introduced in public that the high-end travel project launched by both sides was named ยท Yao travel, which will be officially put into operation by the end of 2019. Hangzhou is the first online city.
