Wejo has an advantage in the connected vehicle data market. In the United States alone, its platform has collected data on more than 10 million vehicles. The partnership will expand the company's data collection capabilities in Europe, and Daimler has become the first automaker to use the central server plus. Wejo said that its platform, with millions of cars in Europe, working with Daimler is crucial to improving its data insight and an important step in creating a global travel data ecosystem. Daimler is not the first car company to work with wijo. In February, GM invested $25 million (174 million yuan) in wejo, and will provide millions of GM data for wejo to manage for seven years.
