Bollinger motors, an American start-up company that launched electric SUVs and electric pickups Bollinger B1 and B2, recently applied for a patent, which is the e-chassis electric platform. It is reported that the platform can be compatible with the development of SUVs, pickups and commercial truck models. E-chassis electric platform allows the vehicle to share many parts, including battery pack, drive system, front and rear suspension, etc. The platform can be compatible with models with different wheelbases, and can carry batteries with capacity ranging from 120kwh to 180kwh. Both Bollinger B1 and Bollinger B2 will be built on this platform, which can also manufacture commercial trucks, supporting a total vehicle weight threshold of over 10000 pounds. Bollinger said it was considering sharing it with other companies in order to dilute research and development costs. Bollinger B1 "and" Bollinger B2 "are officially unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2019. Each vehicle is equipped with a dual motor with a maximum power of 615ps (452kw), an acceleration time of 4.5s at 0-96km/h, a maximum speed of 161km / h, and a power battery pack with a capacity of 120kwh. The ground clearance between the two vehicles is 380mm, with a payload capacity of 2359kg and a traction capacity of 3402kg. The new car will start production in 2020 and is scheduled to be officially delivered in 2021.
