Today, electronic toll collection for road parking will be fully implemented in Beijing. On December 25, 2018, Beijing Municipal Transportation Commission said that in 2019, Beijing will promote the reform of road parking in three batches and implement electronic charging. Subsequently, on January 1, 2019, Dongcheng District, Xicheng District and Tongzhou District took the lead in realizing electronic charging. On July 1 of the same year, electronic toll collection was carried out for roads above the branch road in Shijingshan District, Chaoyang District, Fengtai District, Haidian District and some roadside parking spaces in Yanqing District. On December 1, the reform of electronic toll collection for road parking was implemented in Beijing. As for the most concerned parking fee, will the price increase after the implementation of electronic charging? What is the charging standard implemented in each district? In this regard, the Municipal Transportation Commission introduced that after the implementation of the road parking electronic toll, the road parking fee standard has not increased. The city's road parking charge price standard is formulated by the municipal development and Reform Commission. The current standard has been implemented since April 1, 2011. According to the three types of regional differentiated charges, there has been no adjustment so far. There is a comprehensive electronic toll collection for road parking. In order not to pay, some unruly drivers park their cars outside the parking lot or even ride on the sidewalk. For such violations, the transportation department will increase the penalties. According to the Municipal Transportation Commission, the city will make full use of video resources such as public security probes and real-time monitoring system for road parking management of the transportation department as a supplement to off-site law enforcement technology equipment for illegal parking.
