As the first one to invest in the research and development of new energy trucks in China, it put forward the "7 + 4 whole market strategy in 2015, that is, to promote the electrification of vehicles in seven conventional fields such as private, taxi, public transport, highway passenger transport, urban construction logistics, urban commodity logistics, environmental sanitation, and four special fields such as storage, port, airport, mining mountain, etc. In August of that year, in the field of urban engineering vehicles, BYD, together with Beijing Sanitation Group, released the world's first 16 ton washing and sweeping vehicle t8sa; three years later, in May 2018, the first 500 orders of BYD t10zt pure electric slag trucks were signed and put into trial operation. In June of the same year, BYD t10zt pure electric mud truck officially went offline; in July, the car started large-scale demonstration operation. This series of actions marks that BYD has made a significant breakthrough in the research and promotion of pure electric mud truck technology, and once again, with leading technology and forward-looking strategy, it has seized the development commanding point of new energy heavy truck industry. As the industry leader, BYD is promoting the era of electric mud truck with actions. As we all know, motor vehicle emissions have become an important source of air pollution in China, and diesel vehicles are the most important part of motor vehicle pollution control. In the whole country, diesel trucks, which account for 7.8% of the total vehicle population, emit 57.3% of NOx and 77.8% of PM. In this context, it is urgent to solve the pollution problem of diesel vehicles, especially diesel vehicles with the highest emissions, when the buses and taxis are fully electric. Last year, China also issued the "three year action plan to win the blue sky defense war", which aims to rapidly promote the emission upgrading by optimizing and adjusting the transportation structure. Environmental protection pressure is so urgent that "entrants" in the new energy commercial vehicle market are endless. Why is BYD able to lead the transformation of mud trucks to pure electric vehicles? Electric vehicles of high tech industry think there are three reasons: first, BYD has mastered the core technology of pure electric heavy trucks. As we all know, BYD is the first new energy vehicle enterprise in China to master the infrastructure of electric motor, electric control, charging and vehicle technology at the same time. In the field of heavy truck, BYD new energy heavy truck is the first dynamic integrated bridge assembly technology with more compact structure, smoother drive, higher transmission efficiency and more space saving. It creatively integrates the drive motor, automatic gearbox and drive axle together to make the vehicle battery layout more reasonable. Second, BYD has operating experience in pure electric trucks. It is reported that at present, BYD new energy heavy truck has realized trial operation, commercialization and large-scale operation in Beijing, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Yueyang, Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Brazil and other places in the United States. BYD is also the first enterprise to realize commercial operation of pure electric trucks. Another is the strong support of BYD group. All of the above make BYD more competitive when it comes to pure electric mud trucks with more demanding service conditions, more stringent technical and quality requirements. In fact, BYD's t10zt pure electric mud truck is also very bright. It was awarded "trustworthy zero emission vehicle" at the beginning of 2019. It is understood that BYD t10zt has a total vehicle size of 9610x2550x3210mm. The cab adopts a four-point suspension structure and is equipped with a lateral shock absorber. In addition, the airbag seat designed by ergonomics can adapt to the bumpy road conditions such as the construction site, effectively improve the comfort of drivers and passengers, and reduce driving fatigue. The whole vehicle is loaded with a new U-shaped cargo box, with a volume of 10.6 m3, stronger bearing capacity and cleaner unloading. The upper hydraulic system is driven by an independent motor, with low noise, high speed and efficiency. The electric flat push foldable aluminum alloy top cover has a beautiful appearance and good durability. The operator can quickly expand or retract the top cover in place in the driver's cab. Moreover, the whole upper mounting of the vehicle adopts lightweight design, which meets the strength and reliability of the cargo box, and effectively reduces the mass of the upper assembly. Considering the particularity of vehicle working condition, the chassis parts of BYD t10zt adopt high position layout to ensure the vehicle's trafficability. Both sides of the vehicle are also equipped with high-strength aluminum alloy side protective devices, which are small in weight and high in strength, so as to ensure the safety of chassis components, prevent pedestrians and non motor vehicles from entering the vehicle bottom, and reduce the probability of accidents. In addition, BYD t10zt also adopts the configuration of dual motor + 4-speed AMT transmission, which can realize different power output and improve the use economy. The whole vehicle is equipped with two groups of lithium iron phosphate power batteries, each group has five battery packs, the total power of the vehicle is 435kwh, the endurance mileage is 280km, and it is matched with BYD's fast DC (double gun) charging function. The charging time is only about 1.5h, and the maximum charging power is close to 300kW (double gun charging). It is worth mentioning that this pure electric mud truck is also equipped with the electric integrated bridge assembly technology pioneered by BYD, which perfectly integrates the drive motor, automatic gearbox and drive axle, not only making the vehicle compact in structure, effectively saving space, but also making the vehicle drive more smoothly, which can greatly improve the transmission efficiency. In addition, the driving recorder with Beidou and GPS satellite positioning functions is responsible for processing the data analysis and information information of the intelligent monitoring system, making judgments and sending out sound and light alarm instructions, and realizing the information interaction with the monitoring platform, which can be said to be the most advanced technology integrated with the global pure electric heavy truck. The mass production of BYD such a pure electric intelligent mud truck has brought powerful product samples for the promotion and popularization of pure electric mud truck in China. It is reported that in the future, BYD will continue to rely on its strong R & D capabilities, as well as the core technologies of the whole industrial chain of battery, motor and electric control, to further upgrade the performance of pure electric heavy truck products. It is worth mentioning that BYD pays attention to the performance of t10zt and the number of supporting facilities. The idea of the enterprise is to improve the utilization rate of the existing charging piles in the city and reduce the investment cost; to build new charging piles; to build and promote the intelligent and integrated mobile charging equipment, and to provide customers with one-stop overall solutions from financial mode, construction, after-sales service, etc. In recent months, in order to ensure the large-scale promotion and application of pure electric mud truck, BYD has taken the lead in building the first batch of 14 mud truck charging station sample projects in Nanshan, Bao'an, Longhua, Longgang, Pingshan, Dapeng and Yantian seven districts of Shenzhen City, which can meet the charging demand of 500 mud trucks. In addition to these three solutions, BYD said it was also exploring new charging solutions to better meet the needs of users. Driven by the large-scale and industrial operation of BYD pure electric mud truck, the era of comprehensive electrification in this field has accelerated.
