Among them, there are two standard versions of akamodule CYC, the small (akamodule 64 CYC) is the same size as the standard PHEV VDA battery module, and the thermal management is carried out through the cooling plate in the system. The large-scale version (akamodule 150 CYC) has an integrated liquid cooling structure, which ensures very effective thermal management of each cell in the larger module design. In order to achieve high energy density and required charging and discharging power, akasol decided to use 21700 cylindrical batteries. With this technology, akasol's new battery system is more competitive than the existing lithium battery technology in terms of cost performance and applicability.
