The real fuel-efficient internal combustion engine has higher thermal efficiency when it is running at high speed, while it has lower thermal efficiency when it is running at low speed, the opposite is true for the motor. The hybrid system of HEV just realizes the complementary advantages between the internal combustion engine and the motor, and improves the thermal efficiency of the whole power system to the greatest extent, so as to achieve the purpose of fuel saving. Their actual fuel consumption results are all in the forefront of the same level of models, and they are absolutely in the leading level in fuel saving. For HEV models, running 1000 km with a tank of oil is not an exaggeration. 3. Good performance due to the addition of electric motor, the dynamic response of HEV model is much faster than that of pure fuel vehicle, which makes it easier to overtake in urban medium and low speed road conditions, so as to bring better driving experience to drivers. Although acceleration performance is often not the first pursuit of HEV models, the acceleration performance of HEV models at all levels is still good. In addition to the power performance, the addition of the motor also improves the NVH of the vehicle, and the improvement of the quietness is the most easily perceived. For both drivers and passengers, lower noise and vibration mean better comfort. 4. At present, almost all HEV models in the world come from Toyota and two companies, and Prius is the best-selling hybrid vehicle on the earth. When it comes to reliability and maintenance rate, "two fields" is more of a burden in this respect, which is well known at home and abroad. Conclusion: Although there are always voices advocating that "electric vehicle is the future", for ordinary people, "live in the present" is more rational and pragmatic.
