On December 6, BYD won the bid for 259 buses in the Netherlands, setting a record for the largest pure electric bus order in Europe. Then, on December 9, blue bird, the largest taxi operator in Indonesia, officially signed a cooperation agreement with BYD, announcing the purchase of 200 T3 electric vehicles, the largest pure electric taxi project in Indonesia so far. The 200 T3 introduced this time, 150 of which will serve Jakarta and the remaining 50 will serve Bali. The pure electric T3 model T3 developed by BYD is a pure electric 7 seat model developed by BYD, which can be used for taxi operation and commercial logistics transportation. In terms of endurance, the comprehensive working condition of T3 in Indonesia can reach 300km, which can meet the endurance demand of local taxis; in terms of operation, the difference between oil and electricity makes T3 have a strong competitiveness as an operating vehicle. It's no coincidence that BYD has been able to welcome "repeat customers" in Indonesia and win orders for 200 pure electric taxis. As early as April this year, blue bird cooperated with BYD to introduce the first pure electric taxi in Indonesia, BYD E6. After six months of driving in the streets of Indonesia, 25 BYD e6s currently operating in Jakarta, Indonesia, have reached a mileage of nearly 2 million kilometers, saved about 200000 liters of fuel, and reduced CO emissions by about 470 tons. Stable and good operation data and high-quality experience of passengers make blue bird choose to hold hands with BYD again. After the delivery and operation of 200 T3 units, it is estimated that more than 3.5 million liters of fuel will be saved each year and 8290 tons of CO will be reduced, which will bring great economic and environmental benefits to Indonesia. Based on the "7 + 4" strategy, BYD's new energy vehicles have now covered seven conventional fields, including urban public transport, road passenger transport, taxis, sanitation vehicles, urban construction logistics, urban commodity logistics, private cars, and four special fields, namely storage, mining, airport and port. Up to now, BYD's electric vehicle footprint has spread over 6 continents, more than 50 countries and more than 300 cities in the world. The total sales of electric buses have reached more than 52000, making outstanding contributions to the global urban green and sustainable development.
